   The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a lady identified as Dorcas Oluwabukola for allegedly pouring hot water on her husband in the Meiran area of the state over suspicion of infidelity. A police source, who did not want to be mentioned in the media, in the Meiran division, told PUNCH Metro that the suspect would be transferred to the state Criminal Investigation Department once the investigation was completed. PUNCH Metro reports that the incident, which was said to have happened about five days ago, was trending on multiple social media handles, with claims that the wife became irked after the husband attended his childhood friend’s wedding without her company. This was believed to have led to an altercation between the couple, leading the wife to commit the alleged crime. While assuring the public that the matter would be thoroughly investigated, the police source said the division was monitoring the progress of the husband, who had been hospitalised since the incident.   A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share how the eyelash extension she fixed nearly caused her to become blind. She posted a video showing how she had just installed the lashes when, a few hours later, they began to irritate her eye. Her eyes both got swollen, and tears started to flow from them. The sclera, the white component of the eye, also turned bright red. She thought that it would go away on its own after some time, but instead, it worsened. Her man could be seen comforting her and using tissue to wipe the tears that were trickling down her eyes. She eventually visited a hospital, where they had to do testing and start therapy once she learned it would harm her eye, and the procedure required that her left eye be covered.   A team of doctors in Nigeria have successfully separated a set of conjoined twins.   The doctors spent 13 hours performing complex surgery to separate Goodness and Mercy Martins at the National Hospital Abuja. The surgery involved 78 doctors working in two groups. Goodness and Mercy Martins were born on 13th of August at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi Nasarawa state, through a caesarean session. A Nigerian man, Abraham Basif Omaye has died three days to his wedding.      Abraham and his fiancé, Praise Enyojo Ahmodu, were set to wed on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at CEFN English Church in Abejukolo village, Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State.     Their engagement ceremony was scheduled for Friday, December 22, at the bride's compound in Abejukolo.      Friends and family members took to Facebook on Wednesday, December 20, to mourn the deceased.     Theophilus Ugbede Baba wrote: “Death of a Young promising man hurt Me to my borne but God knows it all.
