I Grow Taller Every Three To Four Months, They Said I'm Suffering From Gigantism - Boy With An Abnormal Height Cries Out(Photos)
With height reportedly reaching up to 9.6 feet, Sulemana Abdul Samed is described by many as the tallest man in Ghana. Sulemana A.K.A Awuche is a young man who hails from Gambaga, the North East region of Ghana.
Sulemana's incredible height has made him gained so much attention in his neighborhood, he also attracts visitors from far and near who take pictures with him. While speaking in an interview with BBC News Pidgin, Suleman revealed that he grows taller every three or four months and he still hasn't stopped growing.
"In every three to four months, I grow taller. If you don't see me in three or four months and you see me in another month, you'll see that I've grown taller."
He said it was around 2015 and 2016 that he started realizing the changes in his height. He said that he grew so tall that his slippers couldn't fit his leg. He said that he was able to get a slipper with the aid of a shoe maker that constructed his size for him.
He also narrated other challenges he faced due to his height. He said that his plans to attend driving school failed because his legs couldn't fit into the car for driving.
He said it was a white man who told him that he was suffering from gigantism.
"I last went to BMC and one of the white men who saw me said that I have gigantism, the disease that makes your bone grow tall."
He said that he met a doctor who told him that an operation needs to be carried out on his head to help treat his sickness and stop the growth.
He said that he plans on having a family and doesn't have a problem with the way God created him if that's how God wants him to be.
